By now, it was clear that no effort was to be spared to bring this car car to its former glory. Indeed we ask ourselves why put so much time and dedicating doing it this way.
This is where we can advocate that this car is the heir of the BAT11 by one of the biggest geniuses in car design, Mr. Franco Scaglione, and body and aerodynamics was what in our view make this an underrated ultra special car. And its all about its curvaceous body, there is no straight panel in this pure design master piece. As so, countless hours were spent, using old steel techniques to reproduce the quality of the time. A wooden model was made to compare side to side curves. We had in mind that we had to restore it but the Bertone workshop footprint was to prevail, in the end we wanted to treat this car keeping it a carrozzeria Bertone original, and not some son of an average restoration. This improved the difficulty of the job, but in the end it pays, an original Bertone car, true to its soul! As for the paint job, the Bianco Gardenia was fine toned by the archive references, with a paint job that speaks for it self, being recognized by the experts as a top-notch work.
